Do tell us, what surprises are you all preparing for players to uncover in this new world?

Maya: Crimson Beech is a town rich with centuries of lore. Players will quickly learn that almost nothing is as it seems, but will they be brave enough to dig deeper into these mysteries? Their lives might just depend on it…

Oooh, I can't wait to dive into the mystery more! Now, I heard that there are vampires lurking about... Care to tell us more?

Bre: The Crimson Beech vampires are split into two different covens: the Venandis and the Clements. They're essentially the Hatfields and the McCoys of the vampire world, always at odds with one another. 

Maya: We’ve got some sexy vampires, some snarky vampires… Some of them think humans are nothing more than food, and some of them are hidden in plain sight! Let’s hope the last two don’t overlap, for your sake.…

Looks like we’ll have to keep our wits about us. What aspects of this book can't you wait for players to sink their teeth into?

Bre: Definitely the history and lore! Crimson Beech loves its secrets, so there's always something new to discover.

Maya: I can’t wait for players to hear the new songs! Our tracklist for this book is so angsty and emotional. No joke, I frequently have the theme song playing on loop.

Gigi: The protective talismans found throughout the book can give you a leg up in fights against - or alongside - vampires. Showing that you can stand up for yourself is sure to impress them, and sometimes, your reputation might be your only weapon.

Bring it on! From the beginning to launch, what was your favorite part of making Immortal Desires?

Gigi: I loved watching this book’s setting come together as we finished art assets and music. Crimson Beech feels like a real town with a rich history, and I’d love to visit it in real life, and hopefully make it back alive!

Maya: Building the high-stakes love triangle has been a thrill from the beginning. MC thinks they’re just moving to a quiet town, only to find themselves caught in a world where vampires and humans share a tremulous co-existence.

Now, answer me this: Who is your favorite vampire/immortal of all time? 

Maya: You might mean aside from those in Immortal Desires, but... I love Lewyn. Morally gray characters like him, where you can never tell if they’re on your side or not, are some of my favorites. 

Bre: Niklaus Mikaelson, hands down. He's a monster, but in all the best ways. 

Gigi: Marceline from Adventure Time is a talented musician and great friend who also happens to have cool vampire powers. What’s there not to love?
