Product Designer (Mid/Senior, On-Site)

As a Product Designer, you’ll work closely with a team of talented individuals across several disciplines within our organization to expand and develop new features for Choices: Stories You Play.

Your primary responsibilities will involve owning specific features within the Choices storefront and to design tools to support our liveops pipeline. This can range from the design of player rewards, social messaging systems, book recommendation system, to internal tools that support content generation. You will be involved in many aspects of production, from ideation of features to finalizing in-game implementation of those ideas.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in the ideation process and produce pitches and prototypes for new features

  • Build wireframes and app flow layouts

  • Design tools to help streamline our workflow pipeline.

  • Document and communicate designs to other teams.

  • Collaborate with a small, tight team in developing intricate systems.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years professional experience in either Mobile App Design, Game Systems Design (not level design)

UX/UI Designer (Mid, On-Site)

Pixelberry Studios, a Nexon company, is a growing developer of story-driven mobile games. You will be working on Choices: Stories You Play which is available for free on iOS and Android. Choices is equal parts “app” and “game” and you will be designing assets and features for both. We are looking for a talented UX/UI Designer to join our Design Team. This is a full-time position based in Mountain View, CA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with our Lead and Senior Designers on app and game features for Choices: Stories You Play.

  • Create deliverables such as wireframes, app flows, high and low fidelity UI mockups, interactive prototypes, icons and optimized game ready assets.

  • Execute on all design stages from concept to final delivery.

  • Conceptualize ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design.

Senior Software Engineer

Our world-class development team is in search of a Senior Software Engineer. The winning candidate will help us work on supporting our award-winning game Choices. Working alongside our tight, razor-sharp team with a high degree of autonomy, you will take ownership of architecting new features, troubleshooting issues, and shipping new product. We will rely on you to work alongside veteran designers, producers, and artists, delivering the game to our millions of fans worldwide.

Product Owner (On-Site)

Pixelberry Studios is a rapidly growing developer of story-driven mobile games. We’ve had a lot of commercial success -- our first three releases have made the Top Grossing charts -- but we also try hard to make a positive difference in our players’ lives and the world at large.

For instance, we’ve promoted special content in our games to raise money and awareness for nonprofits like the Cybersmile Foundation and the National Eating Disorders Association. We think games can and should be a powerful force for good, and our company culture reflects that mindset.

RESPONSIBILITies

We’re looking for a talented Product Owner to help us make data-driven improvements to our newest Top 20 Grossing mobile game, Choices: Stories You Play. This is an on-site, full-time position. Pay rate is between $90,000 to $125,000, based on experience. The ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering to lead ideation, creation, coordinate deliverables, and the launch of new features.

  • Develop clear, concise product requirements and specification documentation.

  • Balance intuition and insights, developing hypothesis and then executing tests to confirm product direction.

  • Measure and inform internal team regarding the success of features after release, then optimize performance through consumer feedback and data-driven iteration.

Art Producer (English, mandarin; On-site)

We’re looking for an art producer, fluent in both Mandarin and English, to assist the Product Leads as we produce and translate content for Choices: Stories You Play.

With frequent releases to coordinate across several interactive books, the candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, creatively-driven startup environment. The ideal candidate for this role is a highly-organized individual, interested in mobile gaming, with a keen eye for artistic details, ability to express themselves visually, and can translate fluidly between English and Mandarin.

Candidates must regularly consume and be up-to-date with Asian entertainment, including movies, dramas, music, games, and literature. Pay rate is competitive.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and/or translate art requests that are in line with the genre of the product. (Knowledge of Asian fashion trends is required.)

  • Work as a point of contact between the Product Lead, art team, and external vendors.

  • Task vendors to create background, characters, and clothing.

  • Provide art feedback at all stages to make sure the finished product hits the right quality bar and is consistent with other assets.

  • Curate all art resources; organize spreadsheets, keep track of everything in the pipeline.

  • Assist artists with art polish approval.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent communication skills are a must. This candidate must understand the vocabulary of both the writing team and the art team in English and in fluent Mandarin.

User Acquisition Manager (Social)

Our Marketing team is looking for a data hungry, performance UA manager. Someone that will fit in with their quirky and hard working style. Do you have what it takes?

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build, launch, analyze global marketing campaigns in order to maximize KPI goals through: Facebook, Google, Apple, Snapchat, etc

  • Contribute into overall campaign, A/B testing, re-engagement strategies

  • Deep dive into audience segmentation for targeting expansion and optimizations.

  • Research and identify creative opportunities to share with the team, provide detailed analysis for best performing concepts for each channel.

  • Collaborate with design and content teams on production of new creatives.

  • Manage relationship with a data science team and being able to thoroughly explain needs of media buying.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years of social mobile media buying experience, other channels are plus.
