Dirty Little Secrets

Your neighborhood may hold more secrets than you think! Here is the Dirty Little Secrets book team to tell us a bit more about Vermillion Lane…

We want all the details on Dirty Little Secrets!

Maya: Let’s just say that things aren’t all as they first appear when you move onto the picturesque Vermillion Lane. Take a sexy secretive neighbor, throw in a dash of HOA rivalry, and don’t forget a pinch of murder - oh my!

Nathan: There is dirt, secrets, and scandal. Trust no one but yourself

Great advice! It sounds like we’ll be experiencing a lot of neighborhood drama. Are they any particular neighbors we should watch out for or hope to cross paths with?

Maya: The carpenter who lives across the street is an enigma, and a very sexy one at that. Lucky for you, they’re just as interested in you as you are in them. But you’ll quickly find out that getting involved with them also ties you inextricably to the gossip, rivalries, and even danger on the street.

Jayne: Your status-seeking neighbor Sadie is definitely one to watch out for. She knows where to stick the knife, and will do it with a smile on her face... whether metaphorically or otherwise is up to you to find out!

Nathan: Charlie is the only person you need to know, they know everyone and everything there is to know about the neighborhood!

Awesome! We’ll definitely seek out Charlie! Will players encounter any fun features in this book?

Maya: Vermillion Lane abounds with gossip. I think players will enjoy getting to don their rookie detective hats as they do some snooping to discover the truth behind the street's biggest scandals and secrets.

Jayne: MC's outfits are so fun and perfect for the long, hot days of summer. I want them all for myself!

We do love a good wardrobe. This book seems to touch a couple of different genres: Crime, mystery, romance, etc. Which genre do you feel it best falls under?

Maya: This is definitely a mystery romance that goes heavy on the steam and the secrets (hence the book title). It’s for readers who like a little danger with their spice.

Jayne: I don't think it would be a stretch to call this a crime story - the couple that breaks and enters together stays together, right?

Nathan: This book best falls under drama! There are no scary monsters, but my LORD is there drama. Fear not all you who thirst, for there is tea for DAYS.

Sugar, anyone? Okay, we have to know. Have you ever had that one nosey neighbor or, dare we ask it, have you ever been that nosey neighbor?

Nathan: Without getting too into details, I tend to be more suspicious of people. So I keep a pretty solid eye out on the neighbor's yards and similar, not up close or anything but I will certainly notice things. Got a new dog? I see that. Friends and family stayed over and left a spare tire by the garage? I saw that too. Did you accidentally murder someone, cover it up, and then steal everyone's mail for a month in a desperate bid to head off any and all flyers in the mailboxes about suspicious activities so your secret (which you and your BFF will totally take to your grave) would be kept under wraps until the inheritance check clears? Did I see that? Maybe...

Jayne: Listen, is it my fault my walls are thin enough to hear my neighbors' arguments?

I mean, we’re not passing any judgment. 😏 As always, thank you for taking the time to answer our questions. We can’t wait for the release of Dirty Little Secrets! Until next time…
